RSoM ACHIEVEMENT Program

We believe that strong leadership is the cornerstone of outstanding healthcare delivery. Our Leadership Development Program is designed to cultivate the next generation of health system leaders by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary to navigate the complexities of the health system. In partnership with the Stony Brook College of Business, we have created a series of evidence-based interactive workshops to help the participating faculty practice the core skills that today’s leaders need.

Emerging Leaders Program

The Office of the Provost is organizing an Emerging Leaders program to foster the development of the next generation of higher-education leaders in research, education, and administration. Discussions and workshops during the program will revolve around various themes and how they play out in higher education, including strategic thinking and decision-making, teamwork, career pathways, and managing conflicts. A wide range of topics will also be addressed through a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to further our institution’ path towards equitable success.
