Graduate Medical Education

The Division of Graduate Medical Education is home to the department’s two ACGME accredited residency programs: one in Family Medicine and the other in Preventive Medicine, both of which have a long history within Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University (formerly Stony Brook School of Medicine).  The co-existence of the two residency programs has fostered inter-professional training and collaborations in research, teaching and clinical care.  The programs share a common interest in primary care and community-based linkages.
