We have numerous opportunities for students or trainees at all levels to conduct projects relevant to gastrointestinal physiology and pathophysiology. In the past and at the present time, our lab has accommodated high school, college, medical and graduate students as well as trainees including residents, fellows and postdocs to engage in various scientific projects. The length of rotation can be as short as one month to as long as a number of years for graduate dissertation or postdoctoral projects. Many projects have resulted in peer-reviewed publications with the trainees as co-authors. Upon completion of their studies, many of the students or trainees have moved on to the next stage of their research or medical career.
