  • Dr. Huseyin Isildak joined the Division of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery as an Associate Professor of Surgery on August , 2021. Dr. Isildak comes to us after practicing Director of Otology/Neurotology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center for 8 years. 
    He completed a Otology and Neurotology Clinical Fellowship at Paparella Ear, Head and Neck Institute, Minneapolis, MN.  He also completed an Otology Fellowship at Delaware Otologic Medicine and Surgery, Christiana Health Care System. Dr. Isildak completed his Otolaryngology Residency at Cerrahpasa Medical School in Istanbul, Turkey.

    Dr. Isildak has  published over 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts, multiple book chapters. He has presented multiple abstracts at national meetings (posters and oral presentations). He has also been invited to present his work at
    several  regional and national academic centers, which include Johns Hopkins Medical Center and University of Florida. 

    He has served as an Associate Editor for BioMed Central (BMC) Cancer published by Springer Nature since 2013. He is also Otolaryngology Section Editor for CSurgeries a peer-reviewed surgical video journal. He is in the Editorial Board for Operative techniques in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery/Elsevier since 2015. Dr. Isildak has also served as the section editor for an issue of Operative Techniques in Otolaryngology focused on surgical management of Meniere disease. 
    He serves as a reviewer for many journals including Otology/neurotology, laryngology.
