Dr. Lucyna Z. Price is a native New Yorker who grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She attended The Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts where she majored in the visual arts, painting and photography. She later graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education of The City College of New York of The City University of New York, a 7 year B.S.-M.D. program. She received her medical doctorate from Stony Brook University School of Medicine where she was elected into The Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Price finished her general surgery training at The University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center and is board certified in general surgery. During her time at USTW, Dr. Price received the Excellence Award for Leadership and Exemplary Patient Care. She then returned to New York where completed her vascular surgery fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Price is honored to return to Stony Brook University Hospital. Above all, Dr. Price is devoted to the lifelong care of her patients and their families from the prevention to the treatment of vascular disease. She is an active member of regional and national societies and has published on minimally-invasive and innovative surgical techniques. Dr. Price is dedicated to the highest level of vascular surgery, endovascular therapy, professional education, and clinical research.
