Proud to be GIM

The Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) and the American College of Physicians (ACP) are pleased to announce the 20 funded institutions for this year’s ProudtobeGIM grant cycle.

The ProudtobeGIM campaign was launched in 2015 by the Society of General Internal Medicine to expose medical students and residents to career opportunities in general internal medicine (SGIM). The aim of the program is to inform students of the variety of amazing career options in general internal medicine (GIM) and the multitude of opportunities to be a leader in patient care, research, health policy, and medical education. This year, ACP joined the ProudtobeGIM campaign and provided additional funding for institutions that applied in partnership with local ACP chapters.
