Matthew DiGiovanni is pursuing both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Stony Brook University. Matthew joined Dr. Williams’s lab within the Department of Medicine in the winter of 2016. His current research focuses on testing novel drug combinations as potential pharmaceutical therapies for pancreatic cancer. Matthew’s future professional aspirations include becoming a physician specializing in oncology and working to educate the public on ways to prevent the development of cancer.
