Leahana Rowehl, M.S., B.S. Research Support Specialist
Leahana Rowehl received her Master of Science degree in Forensic Biology and Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University at Albany. She did a research internship at the New York State Department of Health, Wadsworth Center in Albany NY working on mapping angiogenesis loci for their possible contribution to a cancer phenotype. Currently, Leahana is working on identifying breast cancer stem cells in an animal model with particular interest in the MAP Kinase signaling pathway.
