Ms. Huang received her M.S. and B.S. from Wuhan University, P. R. China. She has worked on screening of the viral tegument protein pp71 cellular interacting partners using PCR, TA cloning and sequencing techniques in human Cytomegalovirus (HCMV) based on yeast two-hybrid system, as well as on generating of mutated HCMVs in which the pp71 was deleted or that contained point mutations to understand its function on viral gene expression and replication using bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) technique. She also worked on genome-based identification of cancer genes cooperated with RUNX1 gene in the progress of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) by retroviral integration using IPCR, TA cloning, Southern Blot, and database search. Ms. Huang has extensive experience in molecular biology, ProteinChip Array, and DNA microarray technology.

Currently Ms. Huang is working on evaluating novel agents for their anti-cancer and inflammatory properties, using various in vitro and in vivo models, focusing on arthritis and on colon and breast cancer.
