Application Process

Stony Brook Urology Residents program will be selecting three residents per year.  Applications are accepted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) system upon completion of their medical school training.  The ranking process is done through the American Urological Association match system.

2022 Resident Match interviews will be:

Thursday, December 8th AM & PM Sessions

Friday, December 9th AM & PM Sessions

Saturday, December 10 AM Session Only

Interviews will be done virtually through Zoom per the Society of Academic Urologists.

Applicants receiving an interview are not guaranteed a ranking through the AUA Match (AUA).

After completed application packets have been reviewed, qualified applicants are invited to interview.  The interview process is intended to provide applicants with sufficient time to meet members of our faculty and tour the hospital. Applicants will interview with our Program Director and selected full time faculty. Applicants will also be given the opportunity to discuss the residency program with our current urology residents.
