Please join us in welcoming our recent additions to the faculty in the Division of Nephrology:
Dr. Fatima Sheikh joined the faculty in September 2021 as Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Sheikh is a graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She trained in Internal Medicine at St. Michael’s Medical Center and Nephrology Fellowship at Northwell Health. Dr. Sheikh will be seeing patients in the Nephrology Inpatient Consultation Services and new patients at 26 Research Way, Stony Brook Kidney Center, with a focus on Onco-nephrology.
Dr. Sairah Sharif joined the faculty in November 2021 as Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Sharif is a graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan. She trained in Internal Medicine at Harlem Hospital and Nephrology Fellowship at Winthrop Hospital. She is also board-certified in Critical Care Medicine at Montefiore Hospital, NY. Dr. Sharif will be seeing patients in the Nephrology Inpatient Consultation Services and new patients at 26 Research Way with a focus on Critical Care Nephrology and Post-Acute Kidney Injury Care.
