What is the LINCATS Program?
LINCATS, the Long Island Network for Clinical and Translational Science, was created to address health disparities and health inequities in underrepresented groups and communities and is based at Stony Brook University.
The Long Island Network for Clinical and Translational Science (LINCATS) is pleased to announce the two-year Mentored Clinical and Translational Research Career Development Program. The primary objective of this program is to mentor and train investigators in clinical/translational research and support their progression to independent research careers. Selected Scholars will be expected to identify and conduct an independent research project, implement an individualized research and career development plan, attend and participate in monthly Work-In-Progress meetings, and apply for a NIH career development grant by the end of the training period. We invite qualified candidates from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. Women, under-represented minorities, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
