The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce that Susan W. Lane, MD, FACP, Stony Brook Medicine, has been elected an At-Large Member of the AΩA Board of Directors.
Dr. Lane is currently a Professor of Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency Director and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Medicine in the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University.
The prestigious AΩA Honor Medical Society, founded in 1902, elects more than 4,000 students, residents/fellows, faculty and alumni annually, and recognizes high medical achievement. Election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society is an honor signifying a lasting commitment to professionalism, leadership, scholarship, research, and community service.
