Why Stony Brook: What initially attracted me to Stony Brook was the collegial attitude shared among the residents and faculty. Once here, I found an administration that was enthusiastic about developing the best program possible, listening to and acting on resident concerns, and improving medical education for all levels of trainees and faculty. Every day is a sterling experience. Plus, the Brutalist architecture of the HSC creates an ideal defensive structure for most sorts of zombie apocalypse eventualities.
