Why Stony Brook? While I knew that I wanted to be at a large academic center for residency, even more important to me were the people who comprised the program. At my Stony Brook interview, I was absolutely blown away by the faculty and residents. Dr. Lane and our other SBUH faculty members are tirelessly committed to our education, and it shows. I left the day knowing that I would be happy here. The sense of camaraderie that everyone mentions is 1000% real. I feel challenged every day in a supportive and nurturing environment. I absolutely love my co-residents, who are not only my co-workers but my lifelong friends.
