Why Stony Brook? I grew up on LI and lived in Michigan during my time in medical school. When I returned on interview day, Drs. Kranz and Lane both greeted me with a warm smile and a “welcome home.” I think that says a lot about the culture of the program. I knew I wanted to be in a place that would foster growth, where I would be surrounded by a supportive group. I can definitely say I made the right choice!
