Why Stony Brook? I got a really good vibe on my interview day, Dr. Lane and all of the residents were very warm and welcoming. I was looking for an academic medical center that had a range of fellowship opportunities and a friendly environment. Having grown up on Long Island and having been away for so long, it's really nice to be able to be close to family in a relaxing atmosphere and still have easy access to NYC
