PGY-3 Retreat - Each year there is a retreat organized to help transition out PGY 3's from resident to attending. This year we went to fire island and had a great barbecue at "Surf's Out," a restaurant on the beach!
Intern Retreat - Each year during intern orientation between long days of computer training, house staff training, and mountains of paperwork, incoming interns are treated to day of bonding and fun! This year we had a QR code scavenger hunt in the town of Greenport. Interns were split into 8 teams, and competed against each other and the Program Director Team! Each team had to scan a QR code follow the clue to a location and upload a picture of their team to Facebook in front of the location! The team that uploaded photos from all locations and found all items on the scavenger hunt list won Starbucks gift cards! Good Luck next year!
