Why Stony Brook? My biggest reason for choosing Stony Brook was the people. Everyone I met on interview day was welcoming and friendly. Not only that, they seemed genuinely happy about the program. I also loved that the program has a huge emphasis on education, including Academic Wednesday. It’s a teaching hospital, and there are a lot of great fellowship opportunities.
