Why Stony Brook? I chose Stony Brook because it had everything I was looking for in a residency program. I knew I wanted to be at a large academic program that valued education and had a diverse patient population. Additionally, I was looking for a program that had a supportive atmosphere. I could tell from interview day that this program would provide both. I have already learned so much in my short time here and the support from Dr. Lane and my co-residents has made for an ideal working- and learning-environment.
