I was looking for a tight-knit group of residents at an academic program in a suburban setting. Having grown up in the suburbs of Atlanta, I wanted a program where I would be able to escape the city yet still get quality general medicine training in an academic setting. Stony Brook had just the right combination of wonderful people, strong academics, and ideal location close to NYC. |
