Why Stony Brook? On the day of my interview, even though it was virtual, I could feel the support and friendly environment that Stony Brook has. The residents and attendings I spoke with were happy to be here and gave off a very positive vibe. I knew I wanted an academic program that was rigorous and would prepare me for any field in medicine I chose. After my interview, I had no doubt that I would be well supported emotionally and academically.
