Why Stony Brook? I choose Stony Brook because it was the best fit for both my personal life and professional goals. My loved ones are incredibly important to me, and after being away from them for so long, I was thrilled with the opportunity to come back to Long Island and be close to them again. Stony Brook's ultrasound curriculum appealed to me because I want to go into Critical Care, and being proficient in ultrasound is a crucial skill to be a good intensivist.
