Why Stony Brook? For me, culture was one of the most important factors in deciding my desired residency program. Having been a medical student at Stony Brook, I was first-hand able witness the emphasis of support from peer to peer as well as faculty to resident. Now as a resident, I can confidently say I was not mistaken. Every day I have the pleasure of working with mentors who are invested in my success as a trainee and fellow residents who help build me up to be a better person.
