Why Stony Brook ? At my interview day, I was convinced that Stony Brook University is where I would feel happiest and most at home for residency. The warmth and caring culture of the residents and faculty I experienced on interview day and at the dinner exceeded all of the other programs I have visited. Stony Brook has an outstanding reputation for high quality teaching, innovative research, and patient centered care. I’m also very excited to be back near my hometown and family. As an intern now, I can say that all of my initial impressions from interview day are true and I’m very thankful to attend residency here. |
