Department of Pathology
We are happy to announce that Drs. Chengfeng Yang and Zhishan Wang have been jointly recruited with the Cancer Center as Professors in the Renaissance School of Medicine, Department of Pathology. Before joining Stony Brook, Dr. Yang earned his PhD in Molecular Toxicology/ Carcinogenesis and Dr. Wang earned her PhD in Environmental Health/ Molecular Biology from the National University of Singapore. They also received their MDs from Tongji Medical University in China.
Prior to their recruitment to Stony Brook, Drs. Yang and Wang, respectively, served as Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Cancer Biology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. As senior faculty members in our department, they will continue to advance high impact and innovative research in the field of environmental carcinogenesis.
