Dr. Matthaiolampakis received his BS in Chemical Engineering from the School of Chemical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Patras, Greece. His graduate focus involved the study of transcutaneous immunization with topical application of antigen-loaded PLA nanospheres and resulted in his successful thesis defense. Dr. Matthaiolampakis has extensive experience with many techniques, including preparation of nano- and micro- sized drug carriers and delivery systems, particle characterization, analytical techniques, immunotechniques, cell culture techniques and small animal handling.
