There is a strong sense of camaraderie, support, and acceptance. During my CL fellowship, I worked with Dr. Lin and Dr. Russell, who trained in the same program a few years ago. Seeing their exceptional clinical skills and expertise gave me a glimpse of how strong the program must be. I also had the opportunity to briefly work with Dr. Krebo, who is one of the finest psychiatrists you could ever meet. Dr. Spring has always been very supportive and kind, and I really appreciate the encouragement and guidance I have received from everyone here.

CAREER GOALS AFTER RESIDENCY: Work in inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry, ideally somewhere I would have the opportunity to regularly work with students and advocate against cultural stigmas surrounding mental health care.

CAREER GOALS AFTER RESIDENCY: To work in the emergency or inpatient setting at an academic center. Would also love to work with prisoners primarily in maximum security institutions.
IF I DIDN’T GO TO MEDICAL SCHOOL: Veterinarian! I have a huge soft spot for animals. Scales, paws, wings, everything :D.

CAREER GOALS AFTER RESIDENCY: Undecided, I kind of love it all. I’d maybe like to pioneer boat psychiatry though.

HOBBIES / PERSONAL INTERESTS: Pokémon, Fire Emblem, writing/reading poetry, discovering liminal spaces, learning about wild conspiracy theories about real life but more importantly the ones about our favorite childhood games and cartoons.
