General Information
Passing USMLE Step 1 is required for formal promotion to Year 3.
Listed below are the requirements to be fulfilled during the third year. Assignment to the following clerkships takes place during the electronic registration which occurs during the early spring of your second year.

 Internal Medicine - 6 weeks
Obstetrics / Gynecology - 6 weeks
Pediatrics - 6 weeks
Primary Care - 4 weeks
Psychiatry - 4 weeks
Surgery - 6 weeks
Students are required to take and pass the CPX OSCE at the end of year 3.
