Jennifer Yang joined the lab as a gifted Ward Melville high school student during the summer of 2015. She began her research by characterizing the molecular targets of a novel agent developed in our laboratory against pancreatic cancer. With this work, she was named semi-finalist in the Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology. She enrolled in Stony Brook University in the fall 2016, and is continuing her research project.
