Dr. Grace LaTorre Receives the Leonard Tow Humanism Award Presented by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation
The Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University selected the winners of the 2023 Faculty Awards, and the Department of Medicine was proud to announce that the 2023 winners included three of their distinguished faculty members.
Congratulations to Dr. Grace LaTorre, Section of Palliative Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology on receiving the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award Presented by the Arnold P. Gold Foundations. This award honors those physicians who recognize the value of humanism in the delivery of care to patients and their families. They demonstrate integrity, excellence, collaboration and compassion, altruism, respect and resilience, empathy, and service in the delivery of patient care, role modeling, mentoring and teaching.
