Why Stony Brook? My passion for internal medicine actually started at Stony Brook University Hospital as a young high school student volunteer. It grew stronger when I returned to SBUH during my summers as an undergraduate and medical student to conduct research and form meaningful relationships with mentors. After interacting with the residents and faculty members on my interview day, I felt at home. Having been raised in the area and seeing the important role that this hospital plays in my community, I am blessed to be able to train in this residency program.
