Why Stony Brook? From researching Stony Brook’s IM program to my interview day, what stood out most was that Stony Brook provided prestigious medical training with a positive resident culture. During my interview Dr. Lane and Dr. Ng highlighted the numerous elective and research opportunities that Stony Brook had to offer as well as the cooperative learning environment. The residents elaborated on the program’s focus on didactics, simulation training and continuity of care. Throughout my time at Stony Brook thus far, these testaments have proven true. It is an honor to be a part of this remarkable team and I am appreciative of the administrators and mentors who have helped me along the way!
