Why Stony Brook? Having grown up on Long Island, from a young age I was aware of Stony Brook’s dedication to the advancement of medicine and excellence in the sciences. I attended Stony Brook for medical school, and I knew it would be a great place to continue to be challenged and supported as a resident. The opportunity to live and work near my family made my decision to stay at Stony Brook an easy one.
