Why Stony Brook: When I was looking for residency programs it was important that I picked a place that would give me the best training and diverse experience. Stony Brook was one of the few places where I would get the training I wanted while also being surrounded by people that cared about my own mental well-being. I made so many quick friends that I can easily reach out to is a testament of how well the program chooses their residents. Stony brook is a well-established and comprehensive training program with great resident and administrative support in a suburb location.
