Why Stony Brook?: I chose Stony Brook because of its strong academic program, diverse patient population and pathology, and the opportunities it offers for my growth as a physician. I was drawn to the supportive culture and strong sense of camaraderie among the residents, and being able to train close to home made it feel like an even more natural fit. Coming back to Stony Brook for residency feels like a full-circle moment, since this is where I completed my undergraduate education and first developed my interest in medicine.
