Why stony brook? I wanted to stay in NY and I was very impressed with the supportive environment this program provides. Dr. Lane is an amazing program director and she's very receptive to the resident’s opinions. I love how approachable and friendly faculty and senior residents are. Stony Brook offers great teaching while providing excellent patient care, multiple opportunities and resources for future career goals- whether pursuing fellowship or not, and lots of new friendships!
