Why Stony Brook? I knew I wanted a NY training program that could provide a strong academic setting as well as a nurturing environment. I had a great feeling about the program during my Interview Day-something felt “right”. The resident, staff, and faculty were extremely welcoming and supportive throughout the day to the interviewees but more importantly, to each other. Furthermore, Dr. Lane’s professional involvement and warmth towards the residents really shows how the program operates like a family.
