Why Stony Brook?: I was drawn to Stony Brook because of its diverse patient populations and pathologies, strong academic reputation with fellowship support, supportive learning environment, and proximity to home. Since starting the program, I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations. Beyond the many learning opportunities the program offers, the camaraderie among residents (which really stood out to me on interview day) creates a welcoming environment where we can learn from and support each other. I’ve become very close with my co-residents and look forward to working with them even more!
