Why Stony Brook? I chose Stony Brook because I wanted to train at an academic institution that provided support and opportunities for growth. My interview day made it clear that the residents were happy, and felt supported by a group of faculty that truly loved teaching. I felt confident that Stony Brook was a program that I could truly excel in. It is also a bonus being pretty close to NYC and many beaches!
