Why Stony Brook: Having grown up on Long Island, I wanted the opportunity to train and care for patients in the community that has been home to me. I was drawn to Stony Brook’s strong clinical training, academic environment, and opportunities for professional growth. During my interview, I was impressed by how supportive and approachable the faculty and residents were, and I felt that Stony Brook would be an excellent fit for my training and career goals.
