Why Stony Brook?: I loved the supportive environment, sense of camaraderie, and positive learning culture that the program emphasizes. The program leadership are always approachable and welcome feedback, I still remember Dr. Patricia Ng dressed in a taco costume during my interview day on Halloween. The attendings and senior residents have all been so kind, encouraging, and eager to teach. Having grown up on Long Island and attended college at Stony Brook, I am excited to train here and contribute to the hospital's excellent reputation.
