Why Stony Brook? Stony is a beautiful hospital in gorgeous Suffolk county! It encapsulates everything I was looking for in a program: unlimited learning and research, wide exposure to subspecialties, and the chance to work with a uniquely diverse patient population, both in terms of social factors as well as pathologies. The fact that I have truly kind mentors, seniors, and colleagues who are invested in my professional and personal growth is icing on the cake.
