Why Stony Brook? Simply put, it was the community. Dr. Lane and the other program directors are extremely receptive to feedback and emphasize resident wellness. Furthermore, the people that I work with each day (whether medical student, resident, fellow, or faculty) promote a collaborative learning environment and motivate me to become a better doctor each day.
