Why Stony Brook?: I originally chose to apply to Stony Brook due to its notoriety as a teaching hospital and research institution, but was struck by how great of a fit the program was when I interviewed. Stony Brook has outstanding clinical training, especially in critical care, and the faculty and residents I met during my interview day were the kind of people I knew I wanted to train with during residency.
