Why Stony Brook?: I chose Stony Brook because I wanted to return home and serve the community that raised me. During my interview, I immediately felt the program was incredibly supportive and filled with hardworking, compassionate people—from the Program Director to my co-residents. I am excited to be back on Long Island and enjoy all the beautiful things it has to offer. I also look forward to working at a strong academic hospital like Stony Brook, where the opportunities are abundant.
