Why Stony Brook? I knew that I wanted to be in a University setting where education is a priority. However, Stony Brook is more than that, it is a family and I got that sense during interview day. Even though it is still early, I can truly say that I feel supported by everyone that I come across whether it is my co-interns, my senior residents, the fellows, attendings, the Chiefs and Dr. Lane. Everyone looks out and helps one another. This was a big deciding factor for me when applying to residency, to find a place where I would have support and I really do have that at Stony Brook!
