I chose Stony Brook because of the people. Despite it being a large hospital, it truly is a supportive and nurturing environment. Everyone from the nursing staff to the program faculty are very approachable and always willing to lend a helping hand. I had a positive impression of Stony Brook when I left my interview day and that feeling has continued into residency. |
