Why Stony Brook? When ranking programs, I sought a program that truly supports and nurtures both my academic and professional growth, while offering robust clinical experiences to shape me into the physician I aspire to be. From my interview day and discussions with residents, it became evident that Stony Brook embodies these essential qualities. Stony Brook's commitment to education gave me the reassurance that I will graduate with a comprehensive clinical knowledge and be prepared to transition into an attending or fellowship role. In addition to their academia, Stony Brook's program is filled with leaders that are supportive. On my interview day, I was met with nothing but warmth and positivity. From then I knew this was the program for me.
