Hobbies/ Interests: Some of my passions include spending quality time with my family, friends, and my 5 Bernese Mountain Dogs. I'm also an avid New York sports and South Carolina Gamecocks fan and I love to cook just about anything. I like to stay active so daily exercise or pick-up sports with friends is always a wonderful way to share time and enjoy life.
Why Stony Brook? Being from the northeast and knowing the caliber of training programs, I felt Stony Brook offered a great mix of what I was looking for in a residency training program in medicine. From the location to its reputation as a great academic institution, I truly felt welcomed and at home during my interview. I was thoroughly impressed by the knowledge of the senior residents and the enormous compassion of the attending physicians. Altogether, I believed these qualities would allow for high value patient care and a great residency experience with ample postgraduate opportunities.
